The Red Onion Restaurant

FAQ

To see answers, click on the following headings.

- Does the Red Onion have table service?
Not at this time, no. Orders are taken at the front and customers pay after completing their order. Please keep in mind that our drink coolers are farther inside the building. Each item is priced differently, so please choose a drink before ordering and bring it to the register with you. This is not necessary when ordering hot/cold coffee, hot/cold tea or hot cider (when available). To make the ordering process faster, order hot sandwiches first, so they can be toasted as the others are made.

- Are you hiring?
Due to the high volume of requests received, please do not call to inquire about openings. If there are positions available, a sign will be posted in the front window.

- What types of allergens are within your food?
Unfortunately, the Red Onion cannot claim to be completely allergen free in any of its goods. However, if you would like to know if a specific ingredient is used, do not hesitate to ask. If you have special dietary needs that we cannot accommodate, the Red Onion is more than happy to work with you to create a healthy and enjoyable experience.

- Do you allow pets?
Animals are not allowed within the restaurant. You are more than welcome, however, to eat outside with your pet.

- Should large groups call ahead?
No, this is not necessary. Please keep in mind that peak eating hours will be busier and seating will be limited.

- Do you offer delivery?
We do not offer delivery at this time. But you are more than welcome to call ahead for take-out.

-Whose artwork do I see displayed at the Red Onion?
The work is created by Roy Newton at Quiet Pond Graphics. He can be contacted at P.O. Box 42, Grand Isle, VT 05458-0042. Or by telephone at 802-372-5386 after 10am.
